When I first saw the title of this freebie, I did chuckle. I don’t always associate skid marks with the god father of Soul! But it did make me think. The late James used to bosh it a bit, run around on stage, sweating, wearing skin tight white jump suits. I’d imagine his rusty sheriffs badge would’ve caused a mark or two during these performances. So in light of that, he probably did James Brown his pants.
