The Mr. Bill project is based on evocation, “I like to write music that excites the ear and the brain. This requires me to explore a vast range of strange production methods and musical theories to keep exciting my senses”.
The best way to describe the music associated with this project is a mix of unlatched, glitchy breakbeats, heavy, swung-out bass lines and flawless edits with a large dash of palatable melodic content.
For the occasion, Mr Bill will be performing a LIVE set. And after his recent work on “The Collaborative Endeavors – A Glitch Opera” this LIVE set is shaping up to be something very anticipated indeed.

– Cheshire (Melbourne) – Adapted Records –

Cheshire has always found his solace in producing electronic music. Starting with dubstep in 2008 he released the number one selling E.P. “Punk” with “Excisions” Rottun Records, gaining a broad recognition within the genre. Over the past seven years he has developed his production techniques and style arriving recently to a point where bass and glitch meet jazz funk and soul. After two years of travelling the world and gathering inspiration, Cheshire has resided in Melbourne to refine his funk infused Latin laced rhythms. Now working with Adapted Records Cheshire has recently released his second EP developing a fast growing following around the world.

– Buck Rogers (NZ) –

With over a decade of experience behind the decks and a solid footing in the Drum and Bass scene, Bugsy saw himself supporting some of the biggest names in the game. Come 2011 Bugsy linked with New Zealand based drum and bass producer Teknik creating mid-tempo, bass heavy glitch funk, and so needing an alias that incorporated all sounds … Buck Rogers was born.

From there it has been onwards and upwards for Buck Rogers moving on a voyage that will see explorations throughout all realms of electronic music incorporating Funk, Hip Hop, Glitch, Drum and Bass and Dubstep.
With Buck’s debut EP ‘Awkward Robot Party’ out now on Bass Mechanix Audio and various singles out on labels including Junkfood Recordings, Scour Records Adapted and Empathy Recordings, the adventures of Buck Rogers are sure to be something to look out for.

– Tom Showtime – Ghetto Funk –

Tom Showtime is a man of many guises. DJ. Producer. Remixer. Saxophonist. Gramophone Enthusiast. From Be-Bop to Breakbeat and everything in between, Tom’s passion for music is paralleled only by his legendary (some would say mythical) enjoyment of watermelon, coffee and cricket. That’s just how he rolls… The list of achievements is coming thick and fast for one of the scene’s true all rounders, having supported international acts such as A.Skillz, The Nextmen, Scratch Perverts, Bonobo and Mark Rae. In between multiple DJ residencies across then city, Tom is still as prolific as ever in the studio, releasing his critically acclaimed debut album The Jam Thief as well as numerous EPs and the ‘Your Word Against Mine’ series of bootlegs. Signed to the UK’s Ghetto Funk label and with a #1 release on the Juno Download Best Selling Chart (The Chippa Irie EP / Booty Fruit) Melbourne’s own purveyor of fine funk is in demand and on the rise.
