Little is known about new artist WBBL, some say he was brought up on a diet of misunderstood folk music and balearic basslines, others say he is the first true star to come from the Ghetto Funk scene.

WBBL emerges from within the rising Ghetto Funk scene. An unknown artist, but an artist with a unique style and sound, specifically designed to delight your ears and shake the room. He instantly gained recognition from some of the scenes biggest players. A.Skillz & Featurecast both featured the same track from WBBL in there latest promo mixes, a track that first featured on our very own weekly Scoundcloud Scour hosted by brandy drinking, squirrel impersonating, Cornishman Spinforth.

Haling from south / southwest UK, WBBL serves up a fresh blend of home-grown funk, glitch and electro beats fused with the wobbliest hi-grade basslines known to mankind. Already proving his production skills with previous bootlegs and remixes of artists such as Daft Punk, Royksopp and O.D.B shaking the scene, WBBL’s arsenal of potent dancefloor weapons are guaranteed to kick start the fun, and he’s not finished yet.

Starting his legacy with a debut EP on the legendary Ghetto Funk Artists Series, with more fresh wbbliness promised to emerge as the year progresses. The future holds no barriers for the up and coming producer, so make sure to stick around to witness WBBL claiming the year 2012 as his own.
