Dj Randomplay has been a firm contributor the NZ dance scene through involvement in the Breakers Delight parties since 2002, and festivals appearances including Splore, Summadayze , Deep Hard n’ Funky, Phat07 to Phat10, Rhythm and Vines 08/09 and on the support bill for internationals as eclectic as Tayo, Freq Nasty, Aphrodite, Stanton Warriors, The Freestylers, Rennie Pilgrem, Aquasky, Baobinga & ID, NAPT, Sinden and Fake Blood, Aural Trash and The Nextmen. Current projects include Regrooved NZ and Animals, along with several production collaborations.

Dave Grimus aka Eavesdrop is a veteran to the Drum and Bass movement.
He cut is teeth in Wellington in the early 00’s where he not only crafted his skill as a DJ, but also in the studio as a force to be reckoned with. In the new decade, Dave’s love for hip-hop and groove based music has shone through in his Dj’ing. With seamless, long drawn out mixes and impeccable track selection he continues to impress those who have an ear for quality and sophistication. Dave is still making waves in the studio producing delicious Liquid DnB, grymy dub-step and funky hip-hop mash ups.

His DnB remix of Woman by LOOP Act Coast is out now on the latest Loop Select. Wellington Based Label Empathy Recordings, has just signed Eavesdrop’s tune Matter Of Time due for release 28 December. Also look out for his E.P First Drop lashing dance floors early next year.
