It’s our week for WBBL treats. Give it up indeed for the man who’s giving away bangers like they’re hot potatoes.

“If you’re into beats and basslines then the Breakbeat Paradise label is the stuff of dreams. While many labels try to branch out into different styles and often lose their identities on the way, these guys deal solely in raucous breaks for the big room dances. While they usually release compilations by single artists, the imprint launched the first volume of the newly crowned Funk Bananas series. Coming through with a vast collection of new artists and familiar faces, these cuts are guaranteed to jump-start your Saturday evenings. Electrogorilla, Rory Hoy and many others dish out party bombshells in an old-school flavour. A mighty fine collection, indeed!” /Juno Review

The purists would turn their noses up at this, after a listen I can see it totally works. If Jimi was alive, off his nut on hallucinogenic’s. He’d be getting down to this sound.

All hail to the honourable! When Krafty drops something like this, the world listens!

Ok Funkers, Ghetto Funk and Soundcrash have linked up to give you a chance to catch one of the Funk originators live in concert, for free!

Once again Scour have landed a colossal EP on our laps, in our hearts, ears and hopefully a solid feature in your serato crates. Meaning it’ll be blowing speaker cones and melting terminals across the world. As always they spread the play amongst new comers and veterans alike.
