Hello and welcome to the home of Ghetto Funk, lets get the ball rolling with a little introduction to the who what where n fark knows of the Hong Kong Ping Pong Club. They are Morphosis, Fat Harry & Spinforth, long time DJs & promoters, short while producers (although what with the excellent tutelage of some of their extremely talented peers they’re coming along in leaps and bounds on that front).

The night itself started over 3 yrs ago now in a town called Falmouth perched precariously on the tip of the most south westerly part of the UK after it was suggested that Morph & Harrys award winning NSB Radio Show, ‘Beating The Crates’, was to good to be confined to the web-waves and should be taken live, so the HKPP Club was born and is going from strength to strength, spawning the infamous Mixtape series and building up a remarkably loyal following of Ping Pongers along the way.

HKPP has played host to some of the scenes finest including A.Skillz, Nick Thayer, Parker, Stickybuds + many more and seen them booked to play Glade, Aeon, Boardmasters Festvals and as support for the likes of The Freestylers, Krafty Kuts, Scratch Perverts, Bonobo and The Apples at events around the south west.

On the production tip a recent collaboration with the mighty Pimpsoul has found it’s way on to his forthcoming Bombstrikes Artist Ep due out early in 2011 and with interesting developments regarding a certain unbelievable boot everything is coming up roses.
