Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is very happy to welcome back one the most successful artists right now in the funky breaks scene: Rory Hoy, who has returned to drop the 5-track party smashin’ Check It Out EP.
It would probably be an understatement to say that Rory is on fire at the moment, with a brand new release on Super Hi-FI with Ashley Slater as well as the recent interview on the Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show on BBC Radio.

Outside the studio Rory is keeping busy touring all over Europe dropping funky beats and running a monthly radio show on Digital Imported – Online Radio Network. Rory took the time to return for a second EP release on the label to drop 5 brand new cuts of his signature modernized big beat style. On the Check It Out EP Rory really managed to reinvent the sound of bigbeat by infusing modern-day production techniques and wobble bass in big atmospheric arrangements. All party rocking material from the get-go mixed with some catchy hooks and you got a winning combo!
Noone knows where it goes from here for the young British talent, but here at BBP we have a feeling its only gonna go up and we’re happy to be part of the journey as he continues to take over the world with his big beat style of music.
