Spinforth’s Weekly SoundCloud Scour #48

Easy all, Spinforth here..welcoming you all to the latest of my ever increasingly epic series of Scour posts, that..unsurprisingly enough, goes by the name of ‘Spinforth’s Weekly SoundCloud Scour #48′ this week!

Running a little later than I’d hoped, all thanks to another relentlessly busy week at my 9-5 ‘work work’. So, I’m in a rush, and pretty much gonna just let the Scoured tunes do my talking for me this week. All 15 of them winners and absolutely no fillers (..other than of the dance floor variety of course)..as I hope you’ve all come to expect from my ear’s impeccable taste by now. Two of them EXCLUSIVELY offered and opened up to be supported by The Scour too! Hoping to see a generous throwing up of facebook ‘liking’, Scour word spreading, thumb love in return for these, pleeeease! Nice on in advance. :D

Just a very quick thank you..to all who got funked up with us at our first Hong Kong Ping Pong residency night of 2012 at The Watermans last Friday. Thanks to you all, we had another of our fun filled HKPP balls! Anyone who missed it, can check out the edited videoed version of events below. Huuuuge thanks, once again, to Samantha James of DurtyGecko Productions for her awesome work on this. Very much looking forward to starring for her again, at our next residency night, on Friday 17th February, when..Hong Kong Ping Pong presents… **SOMETHING A BIT SPECIAL**. Wang that date in your diaries..and trust us, details will soon come, but you definitely do not want to be missing out on this one!! ;)

Well that’s me all Scoured out for another week, gonna cut the intro short to get this one out there for you all in good time for checking out before your weekend gigs. Oh yeah, talking of gigs, if your out n aboot in Fal Town tomorrow (Friday) night..I’ll be doing my Spinforth thang at Eight Bar, 22:00-03:00 (last entry strictly 01:30). Would be my pleasure to see, play to, and get drrrunnk with few of your friendly faces.

Until next Scour..BigUp your funkin rad ass selfs, and..

Enjoy! x

SCOUR EXCLUSIVE #2: If you liked that first exclusive a little big bit, you’re about to absolutely father funkin ♥ this next one! Anyone foolishly not yet following, ‘fresh on the scene bomb making machine’, Father Funk‘s >>SoundCloud<< and/or >>Facebook Fan Page<< really need’s to be correcting that..immediately!! Failure by everyone to check both those two links out ASAP, put’s you at serious risk of missing out on forthcoming bombs, that are highly likely to sound as awesome (..if not even awesomer) as this kindly donated 100% EXCLUSIVE TO SCOUR #48 DOWNLOAD LINK available ONLY*…>>RIGHT HERE<<. How good are the things I arrange for all of you? Well, when you’re exceptionally lucky..they’re this funkin good! ;) But don’t thank me..ALL of your bigUPs belong to Father Funk via comments on his player, or over on his facebook fan page, thank you please! (*If you found this exclusive download link blogged anywhere else, I assure you the lazy funkers cheekily nabbed it from The Scour first! I just hope they’ve at least been courteous enough to BigUP, and link back to, THIS Scour post in their blog!?) 110bpm

Avid Scour followers will well know by now that I’m a massive fan of pretty much ALL of Wick-it the Instigator‘s work. So it’s pretty much a given that I’d be supporting his latest fire this week. Not supporting just for the sake of it though..of course I absolutely LOVE it too. But also, just wanted to help spread the word that he recently, and very unfortunately, suffered a severe hard drive failure (..nightmare!), and has lost a shed load of his drum sounds, audio samples, and massive presets! Which, even I’m gutted about, and I’ve never even had the privilege to speak to him, let alone meet him! Obviously, this is a prime opportunity for him to be checking out the forthcoming ‘THE SOUND OF GHETTO FUNK (LOOPMASTERS SAMPLE PACK)’, and also, if any of you producers out there are feeling exceptionally kind and generous, I’m certain he would be VERY appreciative of any donations you’d feel kind enough to share his way via [email protected]. Hit him up..maybe if a few of you are kind enough, we can persuade him to deliver us a Ghetto Funkin Wick-It flavoured monster in return!? My god my ears would love to hear that! ;) 140bpm
Wick-it the Instigator – Future Krunk by Wick-it the Instigator

Aaaaand finally, this week’s CURVEBALL! Not a whole lot I need to say to bigUP this. It’s another sweeeeeet edit from the brilliant Apple Scruffs, and, by my reckoning, of everybody’s favourite Cameo tune to boot So..just enjoy it for what it is! Ace. 116bpm
